In A Knot is an intimate portrayal of martial life, which doesn’t always goes according to plan. It tells a story of a far from ordinary elderly couple that despite living separately for the past 30 years still maintain a very close daily contact over the phone, sharing their daily routine with one another. We are allowed to peek into their everyday life through the eyes of their granddaughter and have a chance to reflect upon often contradicting feelings of attachment, duty and the desire to be free
